HOW MUCH DOES THE TRAINING COST?!?!
This is probably the most frequently asked question by someone wishing to attend a training course for professional pilots. This question, which is perfectly understandable as far as family budget management is concerned, is often clouded by false information, erroneous perceptions and limited understanding of what one is buying.
The FIRST consideration is that you are not about to make a purchase but an INVESTMENT. An important investment for the future of our children.
The SECOND consideration is that it is necessary to be very clear about what you need to invest in: buying flying hours is not the same as buying TRAINING, buying training using a simulator is not the same as buying training on an AIRCRAFT.
The THIRD consideration is HOW the training is carried out, with which SAFETY principles (perfect efficiency of the aircraft, quality of maintenance, standardization of flight instructors) and how the daily training is planned and monitored in relation to the training program and meteorological conditions.
The FOURTH consideration i show much training really costs and it is at this point that one has to pick your way through a jungle of prices and training paths which so often are unclear and frequently involve unpleasant final surprises.
You need to request a definitive and CLEAR CONTRACT, right from the first signature. Only after a careful examination of the courses on offer, the quality of operations, organization and safety of the various ATOs, is it possible to make a balanced assessment and decide in whose hands to place the FUTURE and SAFETY of our children.
